Adam Chernick is a Manhattan-based musician and private instructor specializing in a wide range of styles, including rock, pop, classical, folk, and jazz. Adam teaches guitar, bass, piano, drums, ukulele, songwriting, and music theory. His students include young children and adults of all ages, ranging from absolute beginner to extremely advanced.

A graduate of the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Music and Psychology, Adam is a knowledgeable and experienced professional who is passionate about sharing his love for music with others. He has over 10 years of teaching experience with students of all ages and abilities, both privately and through the National Guitar Workshop, TakeLessons, and Music on the Move. Adam teaches in students’ homes and his studios in Midtown Manhattan and Astoria, Queens and offers exceptional instruction at a reasonable rate and a flexible scheduling policy.
