Philosophy

I believe in an individualized approach to music education, tailoring lessons to the unique interests and goals of each student. When learning music is enjoyable, students naturally develop a lasting love for their instrument. For children, my primary focus is nurturing this passion for music.

While progress in music often requires practice outside of lessons, I intentionally avoid the conventional emphasis on practice. Instead, I incorporate the genres and styles that resonate with each student, using them as tools to teach fundamental concepts.

Since teaching my first student, an autistic child, I’ve been committed to making music learning engaging and accessible for everyone, regardless of age, style, or ability. I also host two annual student recitals to celebrate my students’ hard work and progress, providing them with a platform to share their achievements with friends and family.
